Student on Internship - 8th Semester

Selection of Project

No need to select any project on CUIMS. Your project evaluation will be based on the monthly progress reports that you submit. Students must submit the monthly progress/activities report by the 5th of every month for three consecutive months. In these reports, you can describe the work/activities done during each month.

Academic Evaluation

The evaluation for your Semester 8 will be conducted through the submission of a final progress report, a PowerPoint presentation, and a viva-voce session at the end of the semester. The final presentation is expected to consist of 100 slides. The viva-voce session, lasting 15-20 minutes, will involve a panel of experts discussing the Internship Project and relevant computing concepts.

Communication for Assessments

No assignment submissions, quizzes, or Mid-Semester Tests (MST) are required. Additionally, there is no need to participate in the regular end-semester final examination. As mentioned in Point No.2, you will have the final VIVA based on the project report & PowerPoint Presentation.

OPEN Elective

No need to select any Open elective subject.  There will be no examination for the open elective subject.

End Semester Examination

MST1 & MST2 Exams

Important Instructions - Read Carefully

For company evaluation, you have to share the details of your Reporting Manager accordingly we may coordinate with your reporting manager. Those who have attended more than 1 internship have to submit a report of all internships but reporting manager details should be of your current organization.

Submit official details. No Gmail / Outlook IDs will be accepted.


Semester-end assessment for evaluation will be based on the criteria given below.

Below are the important instruction whose NOC has been approved.

A. Final Viva: A 15-20 mins viva with a panel of experts on the Internship Project and related computing concepts.

C. Monthly Progress Report: - Find the link below to the Progress Report. Mandatory to submit the report, or else your marks will not be considered.

D. Report Manager Details: Make sure to provide your manager details in the GIVEN LINK. Else your marks will not be considered.


E. Internship Performance Report: Your reporting manager has to fill SHEET information and send it back to [email protected] with mail Subject name “Evaluation by Industry Supervisor - - ”.


F. Download Internship Rubrics: The viva shall happen tentatively around from 29-04-2024 to & 18-05-2024. Exact dates will be conveyed 2 weeks prior. Plan accordingly.


Viva will happen only for those whose NOC is approved on CUIMS. Others will have to appear in exams if eligible as per attendance criteria.


Do sincere and practical work. No certifications/trainings etc will be considered.


Other than these, you must go through the instructions mentioned in the SELF UNDERTAKING - AIT form.

Note: The student is responsible for rectifying the START DATE on CUIMS after NOC approval. Failure to maintain an attendance of 75% (before NOC approval) will result in being considered as detained in the final semester exam and practical exam. Later Placement Team will not be responsible for this.
